Sheri Sensabaugh is President and founder of ACT Personnel Service, Inc. Sheri oversees the multi-million dollar employment solutions firm and makes all major decisions. Sheri has over 30 years’ experience in the staffing business. She holds a Bachelors of Fine Arts.

Nancy has been with ACT Personnel Service, Inc. since 2007. She is responsible for managing the day-to-day operations and finances of the staffing service. Nancy holds an Associate of Arts degree from Allegany Community College and has more than 28 years of experience in accounting and management.

Shawn is in charge of identifying and securing new business opportunities. He will be spearheading new sales strategies and working with current and potential clients, to assist them with any staffing issues they may be experiencing. He has over twenty years of experience in Recruiting. Shawn looks forward to partnering with local businesses and helping them reach their company goals and improving their bottom line, now and in the future. Shawn has been with ACT Personnel Service Inc. since 2012.

As Senior Recruiter, it is Alicia’s responsibility to match the best suited candidate to the open position that our clients hold throughout the area. She interviews potential employees, sets scheduling for employees, contacts clients weekly to follow-up on satisfactory service. Alicia graduated from Allegany College with her degree in Office Technologies and Medical Transcription. She is active with the Allegany Chamber of Commerce and Short Gap Lion Club. She has been with ACT since 2008.

David Turnbull, C.P.A., Turnbull, Hoover and Kahl, Senior Partner

David Turnbull, C.P.A., is a senior partner of his own accounting and management consulting firm, Turnbull, Hoover and Kahl. He is a past president of the Allegany County Chamber of Commerce and sits on the executive committee of The Greater Cumberland Committee (TGCC). David has served on several non-profit boards and his firm received the 2007 Small Business of the Year award from the Allegany County Chamber of Commerce.

Louise Heine, York County Chamber of Commerce, Director of Marketing & Member Relations

Louise Heine is the Director of Marketing & Member Relations for the York County Chamber of Commerce, and is the editor of BUSINESSvoice. She manages the various forms of communications and marketing functions throughout the York County Chamber. She has more than 25 years of public relations, advertising and marketing experience. Louise enjoys being involved in the community and currently serves on the board for the York County SPCA and is chair of the PR committee. She also serves as vice chair for projects and services on the communications advisory board for the American Chamber of Commerce Executives, and donates her time on the communications committee for YorkCounts and the Downtown Inc. membership committee.

Kathy Getty, Susquehanna Bank, Regional President

Kathy Getty is currently the regional president of Susquehanna Bank, and has been with the bank for 13 years. Prior to moving to Cumberland in 1993, she worked in commercial banking in Baltimore and New York City. Kathy is very active in the community working with many civic and charitable organizations. She currently serves as chairman of the local United Way Annual Campaign, after completing a six-year term as president of the local seven-county chapter. She has also served as president of the YMCA Heritage Foundation, and is a member of: the City of Cumberland Economic Development Commission, the Greater Cumberland Committee, the FSU Business Advisory Board, the Allegany/Garrett Counties Community Foundation Board, and the School Improvement Team for Allegany High School. Kathy also volunteers as co-chair of the financial institutions division on the Western Maryland Health System Campaign Committee. She holds an MBA from Loyola College in Baltimore and a Bachelor of Science in finance from Georgetown University. Kathy resides in Cumberland with her husband Jeff and their three daughters: Elizabeth, Katie and Allie.

Betsey Hurwitz-Schwab, S. Schwab Company, Human Resource Director (retired)

Betsey Hurwitz-Schwab was raised in Rochester, New York. Betsey moved to Cumberland more than 26 years ago, when she married her husband, Doug. She was most recently in charge of Human Resources at the S. Schwab Company, and she continues to serve on the board of directors for a variety of other community organizations. Betsey is an avid collector of art and fine craft, and has been a patron of the Allegany Arts Council’s Saville Gallery for many years.
